WEDNESDAY, 31 MAY 2023: PORT OF SPAIN, TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO –  IGT donated new technology to expand pediatric therapy services at the non-profit Caribbean Kids and Families Therapy Organisation (CKFTO). The donation, made possible by IGT’s After School Advantage (ASA) programme, includes a laptop, laser pointer, projector and relevant software to introduce eye tracking and eye/hand coordination programmes. The new technology and software will benefit a number of patients, including children with diagnoses such as cerebral palsy, improving their difficulties with small devices, and children with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, assisting them in building focus.

This is IGT’s third phase of donations to CKFTO through the ASA programme, which is the company’s flagship community initiative committed to providing young people with access to technology and promoting digital learning opportunities. The longstanding partnership with CKFTO dates back 11 years to the first donation made in 2012. The new equipment will be used in conjunction with TVs, tablets, laptops and apps previously donated to make therapy more fun and successful for youngsters.
