Digicel- South Students Get Covid Relief From The Digicel Foundation

WEDNESDAY OCTOBER 20, 2021: PORT OF SPAIN, TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO – The parents of 250 Students from the San Fernando West constituency were filled with gratitude when they recently received a total of 250 back-to-school vouchers funded by the Digicel Foundation.

This initiative was part of the Digicel Foundation ongoing and consistent efforts to provide COVID relief to vulnerable persons in Trinidad and Tobago. These students will be able to use the vouchers valued at $250TTD each to assist with purchasing school supplies. Nigel R Khan, RIK Booksellers and Mohammed’s Book Store all came on board and agreed to give substantial discounts off the vouchers.

Chairperson of the Digicel Foundation, Mrs Desha Clifford presented the vouchers to His Worship The Mayor Alderman Junia Regrello, Councillor Naigum Joseph for Springvale/Paradise and Councillor Ryaad Hosein for Les Efforts East/Cipero, at the office of the Member of Parliament for San Fernando West, The Honourable Faris Al-Rawi.
