TRANSFORM YOUR COMMUNITY WITH TT$150,000 IN FUNDING

TUESDAY 18 JUNE 2024, PORT OF SPAIN, TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO – What would you do for your community with TT$150,000? If you have an innovative project in mind, now’s the time to apply for the Extraordinary Projects Impacting Communities (EPIC) grant to bring that vision to life!

The Digicel Foundation is offering TT$1.4 million in community investment through the EPIC programme, 2024-2025. The call for applications is open until July 14, 2024, and ten community partners will each be awarded a grant of up to $150,000.

Digicel Foundation Head of Operations, Cindyann Currency, shared, “This is our favourite time of the year.  We’re encouraging all applicants to follow us on social media and pay close attention to the criteria for funding.  We can’t wait to see the innovation that will come from our friends in Civil Society. This is an EPIC opportunity for all communities.”

This year’s EPIC programme will focus on projects in five thematic areas: (i) Renewable energy (ii) Environment (iii) Education (iv) Technology and (v) Agriculture. Registered non-profit organisations with innovative ideas to implement sustainable community initiatives aligned with one of the above themes are encouraged to apply for grant funding.

Applicants must provide proof of registration, annual returns and a detailed budget. Interested applicants will be invited to attend an EPIC information day in July to get guidance on how best to apply and what makes a strong EPIC application.

To date, the TT$7.2 million investment in EPIC has benefited over 88,000 persons in 150 communities across Trinidad and Tobago.

The application form can be found online at digicelfoundation.org/tt/en/apply-for-a-grant/epic-grant. For more information, contact the Digicel Foundation team via social media @digicelfoundationtt or email them at digicelfoundationtt@digicelgroup.com.
