CADBURY’S WINNER GIVES TO VOICE OF LUPUS FOUNDATION

Monday 6 May 2024, Port of Spain – Cadbury, known worldwide for quality chocolate, consistently seeks innovative ways to show appreciation and improve the lives of its loyal consumers. In the latter part of 2023, in collaboration with their trusted local distribution partner, A.S. Bryden &  Sons (Trinidad) Limited, the brand launched its “Give and Get Promo” offering one lucky participant the chance to win TT$20,000 for themselves and TT$20,000 for a charitable cause of their choice.

 

Among numerous entries, Simone Seedansingh emerged as the fortunate winner. For

Simone, selecting the Voice of Lupus Foundation as her chosen charity held special

significance, stemming from a personal connection and admiration for their impactful

initiatives.

Established in 2012, the Foundation is dedicated to educating and supporting those

affected by Lupus. The timing of this selection is opportune, coinciding with May being

Lupus Awareness Month, dedicated to raising awareness about this autoimmune disease.

 

Expressing profound gratitude for the donation, Youth Ambassador, Shachia Strachan

indicated, “Every action taken by The Voice of Lupus Foundation contributes to a greater sense of community and solidarity”. The Foundation strives to provide educational resources, access to support networks and guidance from experienced mentors in an effort to raise awareness with the ultimate goal of providing a better future for those affected by Lupus.
