Chevron Pays Tribute to Retailers in Turks and Caicos

The Endurance Performance Award was presented for loyalty and customer service.

Monday October 29 2007: TURKS & CAICOS ISLANDS Chevron Caribbean Inc., operating in Turks and Caicos under its Texaco brand, honoured two businessmen for commitment to customer service, dedication and loyalty through the years to Texaco's branded products. The celebration took place at the Beaches Resort in

Providenciales.

Mr. Albert Grant of Grants Petroleum was presented with the Endurance Performance Award in recognition for 20 years of business relationship with Chevron. Mr. Grant was the first Texaco retailer in Turks and Caicos and has been selling the Texaco fuel products for more than two decades. He told the gathering of family, friends and Chevron employees that his loyalty to the Texaco products is unwavering.

Mr. Ben Walkin, a retailer, was presented with the Customer Service Award for the excellent customer service delivered at his site, the Ideal Service Station for the past eight years. Mr. Walkin thanked Chevron for the recognition and expressed his satisfaction with the business relationship that has existed over the years.

In Turks and Caicos, like elsewhere in the Caribbean, Chevron has been assisting its retailers and contractors in developing their personnel to foster local economic development in the communities where it operates. Chevron also believes that its retailers and contractors must be supported and recognized for their work,

Mr. Bereket Haregot, Vice-President of Latin America Marketing and Mr. Glenn Johnson, Marketing Director, Latin America, were among the Chevron executives present to congratulate Mr. Grant and Mr. Walkin. Mr. Haregot and Mr. Johnson both expressed their gratitude for the long term relationship which has existed between Chevron and the two awardees.
