CISCO- SMB from Trinidad and Tobago will be able to renew its technological platform

Tuesday March 4 2008: PORT OF SPAIN, TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO-Cisco announced today the launch of the technology renewal contest called “Extreme Business Makeover”, geared towards small and medium companies (SMBs).

Through “Extreme Business Makeover”, an SMB in the country will be able to win a technological renovation which may include Unified Communications, Security, Wireless Networks, Switching and Routing solutions from Cisco, as well as a consulting and technological evaluation and support for one year.

The contest is open to SMB companies from the private sector from Trinidad and Tobago that have been in operation for at least 3 years, that have from 30 to 250 employees and that have at least 20 computers connected to a network. No government companies or information technology distributors may participate. Registration for the contest is open from March 4th to June 13th and can be done free of charge.

To participate, participants must file a registration format and respond in a satisfactory manner to a questionnaire about the qualification of its current technology infrastructure and general business aspects. The registration forms received will be evaluated before the company is admitted to participate in the Cisco contest. A panel of experts will select a winner among 15 finalist companies. The prize will be awarded by the jurors based on the technological development index and analysis of the responses to the questionnaire.
