WEDNESDAY DECEMBER 28, 2022: PORT OF SPAIN, TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO- The Digicel Foundation’s #CommunityEveryting initiative is spreading cheer around the country in celebration of the Yuletide season. Ria Moore-Best, Digicel Business Risk Analyst, is 1 of 5 Digicel staff to receive a #CommunityEveryting grant of TT$10,000 to engage with a cause close to her heart this Christmas. The grant allowed Ria to purchase grocery items for 15 food hampers that were delivered to the families most in need in her community.

In addition, Ria prepared a large hamper filled with personal care items and cleaning products for Datta’s Home for the Aged in Arima. The hamper included essential items such as detergent, soap, fabric softener, bathroom tissue, and wipes. Geriatric Nurse Candice Sebro and the elderly residents were on hand to receive the hamper, making it the perfect opportunity to turn the handover into a festive occasion. Ria was joined by her singing group Sustencia – which means “people of substance” in Latin – who serenaded the residents with some of their Christmas favourites, bringing joy and seasonal cheer to Datta’s Home for the Aged in Arima.
