IGT SUPPORTS JBF’S ‘KIDDIE K’ FOR CHILDHOOD CANCER AWARENESS

WEDNESDAY, 2 OCTOBER 2024: PORT OF SPAIN, TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO – As a proud sponsor of the Just Because Foundation (JBF), International Game Technology (IGT) employees and their families, were honoured to participate in the JBF ‘Kiddie K’ Awareness Walk for Children’s Cancer on Saturday, 21 September. “We Not Giving Up!” was the theme of the day as supporters banded together at the health and family fun fair to raise greater awareness of childhood cancer.

IGT has a longstanding partnership with the non-profit JBF through its After School Advantage programme, which maintains a computer lab for young patients at the paediatric cancer ward of Mt. Hope Hospital. IGT also sponsors JBF’s heartwarming ‘Be Better Bears’ initiative, which brings comfort to every child diagnosed with cancer by gifting them a special teddy bear.
